Furniture concept with integrated fiber optic lighting

I am currently designing a furniture piece that expands on my previous work with fiber optics. I aim to create a functional and innovative piece of art that could be placed in an elegant commercial space.
The design was inspired by the organic forms that are created by the linear gestures of light and iconic pieces of modern furniture like those of Warren Platner.
Early prototyping
Materials: acrylic, brass, plastic fiber optics,
3D printed PLA
Along with fabricating the brass and acrylic pieces, I am also 3D printing components and communicating specs to outside fabricators.
